We are a parent and community run organisation that offers fun educational sessions for children 0 - 6 years. We are open Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. We are open from 9am until 12.30pm and have an open door policy for any new members or visitors wishing to come for a visit.

During our sessions our children get to interact with other children from our community, while enjoying a full range of resources and facilities. The parents on session get to enjoy other adult conversation, while playing and learning alongside their children.

Playcentre offers a national certificate in Level 4 Early childhood education, which you can obtain for FREE while you attend our centre. There are many opportunities to learn more about how children learn and develop which can enhance and support your parenting journey.

Ngakuru Playcentre has a unique and reciprocal relationship with our adjoining Ngakuru School, there are regular visits in both directions. We also participate in annual events like Ag Day and the Pumpkin Roll.
